Race for the Cure

Shawn, Kaden and I participated in The Race For The Cure on June 10th. This was our first time doing something like this and the experience was beyond words. It is amazing how many people are impacted my this disease. We ran a 5K and finished in a timely manner, once we got passed all the people who were walking. Kaden loved it and Shawn often put him through one of the sprinklers the neighborhood folks had going for us. We raised $590 and plan to do this in honor of my mom and Shawn's grandmother again next year. It usually happens in June so if you would like to join us next year just let us know.
