I Have A Dream Speech

Beginning in January my students and I began working on writing their own I Have A Dream speeches. I am posting a link to my school website so you can view it. They created their own music, recorded their voices, found pictures to support their speech and ultimately created this fantastic movie. Remember I teach third graders. I was very impressed with the final product. To view it you will need to download iTunes. This is free for all computers. Do the following steps:
1. Go to my school website http://gibbsgang.sme.abss.k12.nc.us
2. Scroll down to Sneak a Peak and click on Dream Movie
3. Download the movie.
4. Once iTunes opens click on the movie folder on the left hand side of the screen.
5. The first slide is a title page. If you do not see that side the diamond shaped object at the top of the screen back to the beginning.
6. To play it click on Dream Movie.
7. Once it begins to play a small square comes up on the bottom right corner of the movie. If you click this it will play it full screen.

Baking with Aunt Erynne

Aunt Erynne came to visit while Kaden had his broken collar bone and other issues....yes there were many. To help distract him they made cookies together. I think they made at least 50 cookies and they were gone in only a couple of days. YUM!!!!
